The REALTOR® Association of Prince William is pleased to offer the 60-hour Principles and Practices of Real Estate course that fulfills the educational requirement for initial licensure as a real estate salesperson in Virginia. This course goes beyond basic requirements to help prepare students for a career in real estate and offers a unique educational experience for the real estate sales associate licensing candidate.

To obtain a real estate salesperson’s license in Virginia, an individual must be at least 18 years of age, a high school graduate or equivalent, successfully complete a 60-hour course in the Principles and Practices of Real Estate, pass a state exam and become affiliated with a real estate broker in Virginia.

About the Instructor

Mark Worrilow is a native of Philadelphia and a retired Commander in the US Navy. He is a broker of an independent and growing real estate brokerage in Dumfries. Mark has been an instructor and facilitator in the Navy as well as Real Estate and teaches in a relaxed, light, but structured manner. He encourages student interaction to promote interest and discussion. Mark is a certified Ethics Instructor and Chairman of the Education Committee.
