Property Management - Class on May 22nd
Vision: To support and improve the quality of services rendered by Realtors, when it comes to residential properties, focused will be on the leasing and Property Management activities in the Real Estate Industry.
Goals: Workgroup discussions, will share updates and disclosures pertaining strictly to residential rental properties, in leasing and property management for Landlord and Tenants under the Virginia Residential Landlord Tenant Act (VRLTA). There will be open discussions, so members and attendees can support each other experiences.
Topics: Will include updates, such as the mandatory requirements for Smoke Detectors, new VAR forms for tenants and landlords’ new repairs requirements for properties with Chinese drywall, and lead base paint, the escrow requirements for foreclosures and short sale properties; that will affect tenants in lease, and the owners with rental properties.
