PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY APRIL 2023 MARKET STATISTICS

WOODBRIDGE, VA. May 15th –Bright MLS, Smartcharts has released the latest real estate market statistics for April 2023 in our area. The data shows a decrease in new listings, closed sales, and median sold price, but an increase in active listings.

According to the report, new listings were down 44.05% from the same period last year, with 583 new listings in April 2023 compared to 1,042 in April 2022. Closed sales were down by 34.82% to 496, from 761 in 2022. The median sold price decreased by 2.21% to $508,500, from $520,000 in April 2022. Active listings increased by 3.13% to 396, from 384 in 2022. The average days on the market increased by 100%, from 7 in 2022 to 14 in April 2023.
