Rules & Tools: Upcoming changes to Coming Soon

As Bright MLS announced a few weeks back, New Construction and Residential Lease listings are now subject to the Bright Off-MLS policy. In order to accommodate the unique needs of New Construction listings, the Coming Soon status is being extended for New Construction, so the listing can remain in that status until a Certificate of Occupancy or the equivalent is available. The technical component of these changes was not available when the announcement was made, however, Bright MLS expects these changes to be available next week.

In addition, the pricing history of a listing will be hidden when a listing is in the Coming Soon status. This will allow agents to test the pricing of a listing in the Coming Soon status, which was a big request after the Off-MLS policy was announced.
