PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY DECEMBER 2022 MARKET STATISTICS

WOODBRIDGE, VA. January 26th – The most recent market statistics, generated by SmartCharts, and gathered through data provided by Bright MLS, give readers a valuable snapshot of what’s hot, and what’s not.

The market saw a 2.55% increase in median price from 451,000 in 2021 to 462,500 in 2022. New listings reveal a 28.50% decrease with 276 new listings as opposed to 386 in December of 2021. Also decreasing steadily at 46.48% in December were the closed sales with their being 350 as opposed to 654 in 2021. Active listings rose to an 118.03% increase with 399 listings compared to 183 in 2021. Finally, the average days on the market increased from 19 days in 2021 to 30.
