Meet your instructor:  Jameel Alexander Scott is a well-known licensed real estate broker who owns and operates the highly successful JTR Team under Coldwell Banker. He serves the DMV area and has consistently been recognized as one of the top real estate teams in the region. With over nine years in the industry, Jameel and his team have sold over 300 homes, which account for millions of dollars in sales volume. 

Jameel’s expertise extends beyond just selling homes. He is also an active real estate investor, owning multiple investment properties and helping clients purchase and sell investment properties. He is an investor with the Getaway Society, a specialized investment group that focuses on purchasing vacation rental homes. 

In addition to his business ventures, Jameel is a licensed real estate instructor, teaching at both Moseley and HCG Real Estate schools. He also teaches real estate continuing education classes for the State of Virginia. Jameel A. Scott is a certified real estate contract negotiator, a United States Military Specialist, and a Luxury Home Specialist. 

Jameel holds a BA in History from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. Additionally, he earned a Master’s Degree in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania while working at the Wharton Business School. He also holds an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Education Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from Georgetown University.
