About Leigh Brown:

Over Leigh’s 20 years as a REALTOR,® she has lived out her motto of #MoreThanHouses — even before we had hashtags! Darcy is a nationally recognized Real Estate Coach and Managing Broker for The Hardy Group, brokered by eXp.  She leads a top-performing team of driven, high-touch brokers in the Greater Seattle Area whose mission is to help everyone find their place in the world and to love where they live. She earned an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, has a background in finance and interior design, and finds managing her team, business, and mentorship to be a tremendous match for her skills.  She lives in Woodinville, WA with her son and husband.  Together they enjoy games, hiking, gardening, and bouldering in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Celeste began studying classical violin at age four in Harlingen, TX. She made her professional debut as the fiddler in Fiddler on the Roof when she was twelve and never looked back.  As she began experimenting with different styles of music, she quickly discovered a knack for improvisation and found her calendar filling up with gigs with many great Texas bands.  Ready to broaden her horizons, she completed her music degree at Southern Methodist University with a concentration in Vocal Performance and a minor in Theater.

She built her initial freelance career performing with high-end corporate bands, entertaining such distinguished guests as Carlos Slim Helú and Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.  Determined to complete her “triple threat”, she moved to NYC for a year to study at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, further honing her skills as an actor and dancer.  After returning to Texas and earning an MBA at University of Texas at Dallas, she launched her exciting solo endeavor.  In 2018 she followed her Army officer husband to his assignment in Alexandria, VA, where she has continued to gain momentum, providing entertainment for some of the area’s most elite social and corporate events.

Dan Rochon is an entrepreneur, a real estate broker, and an author of Real Estate Evolution. He is an Associate Broker in VA and MD; Owner of the Greetings Virginia Real Estate Sales Network; Owner and Co-founder of Greetings Virginia and Owner of other Joint Ventures as well as a real estate principles instructor at Moseley Real Estate Schools.

Dan has been in business for almost 15 years. During the time, he has succeeded and he has fallen flat on his face. Either way, he has been ALL IN!

Dan’s mission is to help people achieve their greatness and to open doorways for their success through his teaching, coaching, and mentorship.

Dan Rochon is a Certified Practitioner in the Art and Science of Humanistic Neurolinguistic Psychology and Neuro-Linguistic Programming from the Washington DC Hypnosis Center. He is a student of human experience and potential.

As a real estate sales agent, his team has been consistently top producers in their marketplace and provide solutions for their clients. Through Dan’s investment company, he has been investing in residential and commercial real estate ventures for more than the past decade.

Cassandra “Cass” Logan discovered yoga in 2012 after a hip injury. Yoga was recommended as part of her rehabilitation and soon she was hooked. As she continued to practice, Cassandra’s love of yoga grew and she decided to go deeper in her practice and become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT® 200).

Cass is passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga with as many people as possible, especially unbendy students. Cass is also trained in Thai Yoga Massage.

Shantha Wetterhan is a nationally recognized lecturer, consultant and personal branding and marketing strategist who helps real estate professionals scale and grow their businesses through highly effective online marketing strategies.

As the founder and owner of Competitive Edge Online Marketing and Branding, Shantha is passionate about taking away the feeling of overwhelm and confusion when it comes to social media marketing and personal branding.

Shantha earned her degree in Mass Communication with Specialization in Journalism and Minor in Political Science from UAB. She earned her certification in Digital Marketing Strategy from KSU. Shantha has been teaching marketing focused Georgia Real Estate Commission courses since 2015.

Paula’s experience as an active REALTOR®, National Speaker and Business Leader translates in a fun and relatable way. She was the 2017 President of Arizona REALTORS® and 2017 AZ REALTOR® of the Year, was the 2019 NAR Region XI Vice President and is the Owner of the Focus School of Real Estate. She has been honored with NAAR’s Dis/nguished Service Award and their Presidents Award, and was the 2014 winner of the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce’s Young Athena Award. Most people in Flagstaff know her by her favorite title; “Sam’s Mom”

Barbara Costa is a 2nd Degree Blackbelt . She owned and was the head instructor of one of the top TaeKwonDo schools in Texas. She is now the Supervising Broker of KW Solutions . Barbara has been in the real estate business for 20 years and mixes the two well!


About Your Instructor

Heidi Marine is an associate with the firm of Leggett, Simon, Freemyers, and Lyon, PLC and is counsel to Ekko Title, LLC.  Her practice is concentrated in residential real estate transactions, title defects and title insurance issues.  In addition to her practice at Ekko Title, Ms. Marine has served on the PWAR Board of Directors as the title industry representative for the past two years.

Ms. Marine graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2005 with a B.A. in Psychology and received her law degree from George Mason University, School of Law in 2008.  She has been licensed to practice law in Virginia since 2008.  Ms. Marine is a member of the Virginia Bar Association Real Property Practice Area.

Prior to entering real estate practice, Ms. Marine practiced civil and criminal litigation in Fairfax, Virginia where she focused on domestic relations and criminal defense.

Course Summary/Description: In this course we will discuss several tips and tricks to put your best face forward when attending or hosting a video conference. We will also cover the basic features of the desktop and phone versions of Zoom, some advanced Zoom tools you can use to impress your audience, and some Zoom alternatives.

Cathy Austin is originally from NC but has lived in multiple states and overseas since the age of 18. She is a wife, mother, minister, entrepreneur, investor, instructor, mentor & coach. Cathy served in the US Army for 8 years and still currently supports her husband with 26 years of active service and her son with 2 years of active service. She enjoys spending time with God, family and friends, training, mentoring, coaching in real estate, photography and roller skating!

John is the current NAR RPAC Fundraising Trustee Chair and a member of the Virginia REALTORS RPAC Fundraising Trustees.  He is a past Virginia REALTORS President, serving in 2009.  John has also been involved on many committees at the national, state, and local level.

PWAR’s very own Communications & Events Director, Meagan graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, concentrating in Painting.

Since graduating in 2015, she has participated in two local art shows: Off the Wall at George Mason University in 2016, and RAW: Artists DC in 2019. She has also relaunched her Etsy shop, MeaganRoseDesign, for her custom pet, landscape, and home watercolor paintings. 

Professionally trained in oil painting, she more recently picked up watercoloring since becoming a mother and has found a true passion in the new medium. For the Paint & Sip we will be using acrylic on canvas!
