RICHMOND (Feb. 13) Members of the REALTOR® Association of Prince William County (PWAR) ventured to Richmond to meet with their elected officials to discuss the outlook for the real estate market in 2023. PWAR President Beth Grant, a REALTOR® with Samson Properties, and Legislative Small Group Chairman Bill Coppa, a REALTOR® with Pearson Smith Realty led a delegation of twenty-four REALTORS® for the annual trip to Richmond.
“This is an important opportunity for REALTORS® to visit with the members of the General Assembly,” said President Beth Grant. “Housing is a vital part of the economy of Prince William and having a chance to discuss the market with our elected officials is an important part of our businesses.”
This is PWAR’s second REALTOR® Day on the Hill following the suspension of the program for the COVID Pandemic. “Getting to meet with our elected officials face to face is important component of our relationships with them, Bill Coppa offered. “We appreciate the job they are doing for the entire County.”
In addition to individual meetings with the Prince William Delegation, the group was recognized by Delegate Luke Torian (D-52nd) in an address to the entire House of Delegates.
“We appreciate Delegate Torian’s recognition of our trip to Richmond,” said President Grant.
