It’s time to Power Up! Here’s what to expect.
Your transition to Bright will occur over several weeks, as we prepare to convert your MLS work and as you take time to learn about Bright and how to use the MLS to your best advantage. Here’s a summary of the conversion, or “Power Up” process:
Initiate (Begins Now): Think of this phase as a “Pre-preview.” It’s a chance for you to learn about Bright, what the new system offers and what to expect from the conversion. You can do so now by reading the information available on the Initiate Power Up Page.
Calibrate (October 29th): We estimate that this “Preview” phase will begin the week of October 29th. During this 3-week preview phase, called “Calibrate,” you’ll receive your login information for BrightMLS.com by email. We’ll ask you to login, learn to navigate around the new system, perform searches, update your information, check your listings and prepare your clients for the change. This will also be when training will be available. You can find an overview of the classes here.
Activate (November 20th): We estimate that you will power up on Bright and begin to work in the new system the week of November 20th. Plan to spend some time the first day to double-check your account and all of your listings, add information on new required fields to your active listings, and update your client searches.
Please note: You will no longer have access to MRIS after your Activate Date.

Your active participation throughout this process will help ensure you can use Bright MLS to your best advantage. We ask that you please:
- Read your Bright email.
- Attend class either in person or online.
- Take the actions requested in a timely manner.
- Look carefully at your listing data in Bright and share any discrepancies you find.
- Search the Online Help topics, watch videos and take advantage of other resources that will be available.
Only together, can we can make your transition a positive experience and make the Bright MLS community as a whole, successful. And as always, Bright’s Support Center will be available 7 days a week to support you throughout this process and beyond.
