Beth first entered real estate as a mortgage lender in 1983. After a 28 year career in the mortgage business, she obtained her real estate license in late 2010.

 

Beth has been on the PWAR Board of Directors since Jan. 2016 + has thoroughly enjoyed volunteering her time. Her goal is to get more REALTOR® members involved and engaged in educational offerings, fun events and growth opportunities. She also served on the RPAC & Community Outreach Committees the past several years and was named Volunteer of the Year in 2018.

Beth has also served on the Property Management Council for VR the past several years, and on the Conventional Financing & Policy Committee for NAR in 2019.

Chief Executive Officer

April Thomas joined the REALTOR® Association of Prince William in February 2005 and has been serving as the Chief Executive Office since November 2014. At PWAR, she works intimately with the Executive Committee and Board of Directors to ensure the Association runs smoothly; from finances to member experience.

 

Her philanthropic work includes her service on the Board of Directors for the Prince William Region Boys and Girls Clubs and Keep Prince William Beautiful serving as their Treasurer, as well as regularly serving at her church.

As the REALTOR® Association’s chief executive officer, she has also served at Virginia REALTORS® on numerous committees and was appointed by the President, as the Association Executive member of their Board of Directors in 2019.

Mrs. Thomas has been recognized for her dedication to the real estate industry on many levels including being inducted into the PWAR Hall of Fame, the National Association of REALTORS® Omega Tau Rho society, and was chosen as one of the Forty under Forty by Potomac Local.

She has always been committed to professional growth, because of this, she is a graduate of the Leadership Prince William program and has earned the National Association of REALTORS® REALTOR® Association Certified Executive (RCE) designation.

Mrs. Thomas has been a resident of Prince William County for almost thirty years.
