Who made the decision to sell the headquarters and why?
On May 12, 2023, we held a membership meeting to discuss the future of its Daisy Reid Avenue headquarters. Earlier this year, President Grant assembled a Presidential Advisory Group (PAG) whose charge was to examine the utilization of PWAR’s current headquarters and propose recommendations. The PAG concluded and recommended listing the current headquarters and purchasing a right-sized facility.

The new 7100 sq. ft. location will allow for more accessibility for members in the Gainesville and Haymarket areas, and it will also encourage offering improved services to our members and enhance our outreach initiatives.

What is the address of the new headquarters?

9720 Capital Court, Ste 200, Manassas, VA 20110.

It is will be located in the Gateway Professional Condominium off Rt. 234 and 28. Nearby are: Two Silos, Blacksheep, Center at Innovation, and construction will begin soon on the University Village at Innovation town center.

What will happen to the Daisy Reid location?

The location has been sold and we are unsure what the future use will be for the facility.

Will member services be affected during the move?

Yes, for a short period of time. We’re committed to maintaining our support and services, so we will be available remotely on the following dates:  August 30th and September 1st.

We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 5 at our new location.

 

 

Will you sell any of your furniture to prepare for the move?

Yes. We are preparing for the move now! A furniture sale will begin on August 7 and end on August 29.

Note: Due to operation of regular business until August 29, some items may not be available for pickup until end of day on the 29th.

What if I need Sentrilock assistance while you're closed?

Many challenges can be resolved by contacting Sentrilock’s Customer Support Team; they are available for you from 8 a.m. to midnight ET, 7 days a week.

If an exchange of a defective lockbox is needed, hold onto your box and RMA # until we reopen. In the meantime, inquire about borrowing a lockbox from a broker or colleague. A lockbox can temporarily be put in your name by the lockbox owner. If neither of these is an option, we will work with you to find a solution.

Will the Association host an open house?

Yes! We are very excited for our members to visit their new space. We will have opportunities from an open house to ribbon cutting with the Prince William Chamber and City Council to take tours. Dates TBD.
