PWAR Donates 50 Coats to Prince William Preschool

WOODBRIDGE, Va. December 12 – Over several weeks, the Community Outreach group coordinated a coat drive for the Prince William County Preschool Program. This year, fifty coats were collected, and will be distributed to students and their siblings.

Haley Hudson, PWAR’s Community Outreach liaison, said, “It’s great to see our members donate to a great cause, once again, as there is a real need for coats in our local community,” “We thank those who supported PWCS and The Association through their donations!”

Prince William County Public Schools offers preschool programs through state and federal grants. Children who attend PWCS Preschool Program are enrolled in school and participate in the USDA food program, a variety of educational activities, and receive family services. Preschool activities help children grow mentally, socially, emotionally, and physically.
