September is REALTOR® Safety Month and PWAR, VAR & NAR are providing members with opportunities and resources to help them stay safe on the job.
Thirsty Thursday – Realtor Safety on 9/8 at Bungalow Alehouse
Join us at Bungalow Alehouse on Thursday, September 8th from 4PM to 6PM for a few beverages and hors d’oeuvres—and a serious discussion about your safety! One of the most important skills (if not THE most important) for REALTORS® to learn is how to “work safe.” Each month or so, we hear of a serious crime (assault, rape, murder etc) against a REALTOR® in the course of his or her work. Your safety is NEVER guaranteed! Because REALTORS® work constantly with the general public in many different places and situations, REALTORS® must have a 6th sense about potential danger. To help you understand how to think and conduct yourself to “stay safe,” Ann Johnston with The Settlement Group will discuss some basic practical ideas for REALTORS® to operate so as to keep themselves out of harm’s way. RSVP “Going” on our Facebook event or sign-up through Amanda@pwar.com.
